The Story Behind the Story
Dad & Daughter - 2014
This book started on a school run in 2014, when a little girl named Isabella asked her dad to tell her a story about a hummingbird. That story became Henrietta.
Twelve years later — after life got busy, as it does — Herb sat down and finally finished what Isabella started. The Worldly Adventures of Henrietta Hummingbird is the result.
Herb Kellins lives in Pflugerville, Texas with his wife, Sonia and their yellow lab, Ginger.
This is his first book. It won't be his last.
